About me

I hate privilege, though I find myself constantly benefitting from it. It’s gross and I wish it wouldn’t exist. But it does and in this mosaic world there are some people who have it easier than others. People who speak English natively (here in the west), people who are educated, people who are able-bodied, people who have access to healthcare, and people who live in safe beautiful neighborhoods.

Access to green space too!

So this is my attempt to fight back. To post about things that matter, to showcase other’s experience in hopes to cultivate two things. 1) A deeper understanding of the levels of privilege that I benefit from. 2) Empathy. Both for myself and any potential reader who may stumble here.
